Founder & TherapistRaquel Pérez is the founder of Intima Couples and Sex Therapy and a Licensed Professional Counselor offering individual and couples therapy in Colorado.
Raquel specializes in relationships, intimacy, sexuality, identity, anxiety, depression, and ketamine-assisted therapy. She works with individuals and couples who want to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, explore sexuality and intimacy, or create meaningful change in areas where they may feel stuck or disconnected.
Her approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, sex-positive, and culturally responsive, with attention to attachment, the nervous system, and the ways our experiences shape how we relate to ourselves and others. She believes therapy should provide space for curiosity and exploration without shame, guilt, or judgment.
As a Mexican-American, LGBTQ+ therapist, Raquel is especially passionate about creating affirming spaces for people whose identities, relationships, or experiences have not always felt fully understood or represented.
