Raquel Pérez, LPC, is the founder of Intima Couples and Sex Therapy and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. She provides individual therapy, couples counseling, and sex therapy in Lakewood, Colorado, with virtual therapy available throughout the state.
Raquel specializes in relationships, intimacy, sexuality, LGBTQIA+ identity, anxiety, depression, trauma, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). She works with individuals and couples who want to better understand themselves, navigate relationship challenges, explore sexuality and identity, or reconnect with parts of themselves that may feel distant or disconnected.
Her therapeutic approach is person-centered, attachment-informed, trauma-informed, sex-positive, and culturally responsive. She incorporates nervous system awareness and somatic exploration to help clients better understand how their experiences, emotions, and protective patterns influence their relationships with themselves and others.
As a Mexican-American and LGBTQ+ therapist, Raquel is especially passionate about creating affirming spaces for individuals whose identities, relationships, or experiences have not always felt understood or represented. She welcomes LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples, and people exploring diverse relationship structures, including consensual non-monogamy.
Raquel believes therapy should be a collaborative space where curiosity, compassion, and authentic self-exploration can unfold without shame or judgment.

Lady Mae Soriano is the Client Experience & Marketing Coordinator at Intima Couples and Sex Therapy. She helps create a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience for individuals and couples beginning their therapy journey.
As part of Intima's administrative team, Lady assists prospective and new clients with the onboarding process, helping them navigate appointment information, client portals, insurance verification steps, and the details involved in getting started with therapy.
Behind the scenes, Lady also supports Intima's marketing, content development, and educational resources, helping us share information that reflects our commitment to compassionate, inclusive, and accessible mental health care.
