A Place for Insight, Healing, and Growth—For Clients and Clinicians Alike
Intima Couples and Sex Therapy PLLC is more than a therapy practice—it's a space where emotional safety, deep insight, and meaningful connection are honored. We are currently expanding and looking for a warm, attuned, and relationally-minded clinician to join our growing team.
You became a therapist to help people heal.
Not to worry about marketing.
Not to spend evenings chasing paperwork.
Not to feel rushed from session to session.
At Intima, we believe clinicians do their best work when they have the freedom to focus on what matters most: helping people reconnect with themselves, with one another, and with what matters most to them.
We're building a practice for therapists who value depth over productivity, curiosity over certainty, and authenticity over perfection.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.
You’ll Feel at Home Here If...
✓ You believe healing is about helping people reconnect with themselves—not simply reducing symptoms.
✓ You value honesty, humility, and genuine connection.
✓ You enjoy the freedom of working independently while still feeling supported.
✓ You take ownership of your work and follow through on your commitments.
✓ You believe curiosity is one of the most important therapeutic skills.
✓ You want to continue growing—not because someone requires it, but because it matters to you.
✓ You care as much about who you are in the therapy room as what techniques you use.
Our Mission
“We create space for emotional insight and healing by offering therapy rooted in safety, curiosity, and compassion. We believe the wisdom you seek is already within you—and our job is to help you access it.”
This applies not only to our clients, but to our team. We hope Intima is a place where you remain connected to your own voice, your wellbeing, and the work that first inspired you to become a therapist.
A Note From the Founder
I started Intima because I believe therapy changes lives when both clients and clinicians have the space to do meaningful work.
I've intentionally built this practice around depth rather than volume, autonomy rather than micromanagement, and genuine relationships rather than productivity metrics.
My hope is that every clinician who joins Intima feels trusted, supported, and free to practice in a way that reflects both their values and the needs of their clients.
If that resonates with you, I'd love to meet you.
— Raquel Perez, LPC

Holistic View of Healing
We believe healing is more than reducing symptoms. Healing is about helping people reconnect—with themselves, their relationships, their bodies, and the parts of themselves that may have felt distant for a long time.
Our clinicians recognize the interconnectedness of emotional, relational, physical, cultural, and nervous system experiences.
They don't need to practice from one specific theoretical orientation, but they appreciate treating the whole person rather than focusing solely on diagnoses.
Independence
Our clinicians enjoy autonomy.
Rather than needing constant oversight, they are comfortable managing their schedule, documentation, and clinical responsibilities while knowing support is available when needed.
They are self-motivated and take ownership of their work.
Growth Mindset
No clinician knows everything.
We value therapists who remain curious, continue learning, seek consultation when appropriate, and reflect on their own clinical work.
